Initially developed as a medical treatment and still used today to treat conditions like bruxism and hyperhidrosis, anti-wrinkle injections are used to target specific muscles to soften movement and reduce the lines and wrinkles caused by facial expressions. While it’s mainly considered a corrective procedure, it can also be used as a preventative measure by targeting areas which see a lot of expressive movement. This can delay lines and wrinkles from developing in that area.
Please avoid St John’s Wort, alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen at least 24 hours before and after your appointment.
Anti-wrinkle injections can help to smooth fine lines and wrinkles across the forehead, between the brows, at the top of the nose and even in the neck. It can be used both curatively and preventatively. We also offer Botox for gummy smile treatment.

Like most injectables, wrinkle relaxers are a minimally-invasive procedure. We also use extremely fine needles and advanced techniques to administer your treatment as safely and comfortably as possible.

Anti-wrinkle injections are often referred to as ‘Botox’, however this is actually a brand name. Here in Stamford, we use the Botox brand alongside Bocouture and Azzalure, each of which are made by leading names in the industry and are synonymous with high-quality ingredients and fantastic results. As with many of our other aesthetics treatments, downtime and side-effects are minimal with anti-wrinkle injections.

You can expect results to last from 3-6 months and develop within 2-3 weeks. However, metabolism, skin type and other factors can affect their duration. You’ll also need to commit to top-up treatments over time to prolong the effects.
