What is BBL Treatment?
BBL – or Brazilian bum lift – is a procedure offered at G & T Aesthetics aesthetics to lift and shape the area for a pert, well-toned and curvy silhouette. While exercise can help to tone and shape the underlying glute muscles, a layer of fat sits on top of them, and a full, rounded look may be difficult to achieve through exercise alone.

The treatment involves a series of injections, which combine two powerful ingredients: DMAE compound and Botulinum toxin A (Botox). DMAE is a firming solution that helps provide a smoothing and plumping effect to correct sagging and flaccid skin, while Botox helps to engage the glute muscles to lift and enhance your shape.
Please avoid St John’s Wort, alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen at least 24 hours before and after your appointment.

A BBL procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic to desensitise the treated area and ensure a comfortable experience. Results typically last up to 6 months. Most patients don’t experience any downtime with this procedure.

To enhance and augment the posterior – including targeting skin laxity and dimpling – we use a combination of DMAE and Botox, delivered in the form of our BBL injections. We don’t currently use dermal fillers in this area.
