Dermalux LED Phototherapy treatment is led by our founder and Registered General Nurse, Charli, who can advise you on how many sessions of treatment you need. Different wavelengths of light stimulate different responses in the skin. Controlled red, blue and near UV light are clinically proven to be beneficial to the skin. The light penetrates the skin at its deepest layers to energise skin cells, however different wavelengths address different concerns – for instance, blue light targets blemish and spot-causing bacteria in the upper layers of the skin; rejuvenating red light is absorbed by the cells’ mitochondria (powerhouse), which can increase collagen production; near infrared light stimulates cellular activities. By combining these into one treatment, Dermalux LED Phototherapy offers superior, lasting results.
